Terms and conditions
These terms govern the coaching relationship between you ("the player") and Paul Bate Golf ("we", "us"). By subscribing, you agree to them.
1. Services
Paul Bate Golf provides subscription-based coaching under two retainer options:
£80 a month: one in-person lesson every 4 weeks.
£50 a month: one in-person lesson every 8 weeks.
2. Payment and subscription
2.1. Payment is due monthly, in advance, by direct debit.
2.2. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled in line with clause 2.5.
2.3. If a payment fails, we may suspend lessons until it is resolved.
2.4. No refunds are given for payments already made. Any unused lessons remain available for the rest of their validity (clause 3.2).
2.5. You may cancel at any time by giving 30 days' notice. You remain entitled to any lessons already paid for, within the carryover period in clause 3.2.
3. Lessons and carryover
3.1. You are entitled to one in-person lesson every 4 or 8 weeks, depending on your plan. Lessons take place at the studio.
3.2. Lessons may be carried over for up to 3 months from their original due date. For example, a lesson due on 14 January can be used up to 14 April. A lesson not used within this period is forfeited.
3.3. Please book as early as possible, as availability depends on demand. Weekend lessons are very limited, and there are no lessons on Sundays, bank holidays, or between 24 December and 2 January.
3.4. Paul may take additional days off. If so, you will be told in advance so the lesson can be rearranged.
4. Booking and cancellations
4.1. All lessons must be booked in advance. Specific times, particularly at weekends, cannot be guaranteed.
4.2. If you need to cancel a booked lesson, please give at least 24 hours' notice, or the lesson may be forfeited. Unavoidable circumstances are considered case by case.
4.3. If you miss a lesson without notice, it is forfeited and will not be rescheduled.
5. Ending your subscription
5.1. If you cancel, you remain entitled to any outstanding lessons for up to 3 months after your last payment, subject to clause 3.2.
6. Health and safety
6.1. By subscribing, you confirm you are fit to take part in golf, and you will tell us of any health condition or injury that may affect your participation.
6.2. Paul Bate Golf is not liable for personal injury, property damage or loss during lessons. You take part at your own risk.
7. Conduct
7.1. We expect respectful behaviour at all times. Abuse, harassment or inappropriate behaviour may lead to immediate termination of your subscription without refund.
8. Governing law
8.1. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
9.1. We may update these terms. You will be told of any changes, and continuing with your subscription means you accept them.
